The entire nether dimension has been reset. Pregeneration has not yet started and i doubt it will unless the server revives. This was due to the massive amounts of corruption. Because of this corruption, there was unpredictable terrain, random chunks sized holes into lava, random chunk borders bringing random walls, damaged structures and probably more.

I’ve spotted some world corruption in the Nether, quite heavy corruption actually. A good number of chunks have been re-generated automatically by this corruption, weird terrain in the nether is to be expected from now on. Other dimensions are unknown, report any unusual chunks or terrain to me by email at minecraft@dotz.dev or by telling me when I’m in game.

A development version of GeyserMC has been added to the SMP, this can result in bugs or unexpected behaviour for bedrock players but atleast they can join. I have no idea if it’s stable or to be honest if it works at all but, it’s what we have right now

oh yeah since i’m selfhosting i got epic hardware, i can forceload chunks for you guys if you want for example a sugar cane farm or something, anything you want. i just need the coordinates (rip cpu)

And so the server has started! We got 4 whitelisted people with three of them having played the first day, hoping they invite some friends. Again, the server is not 24/7 and is selfhosted. Hello! This post serves to purposes, to see if this blog works correctly and to announce another minecraft server im making! Well you probably could’ve guessed that by the title over this text but i gotta start this post somehow, and im not a writer as you see from the grammar, not exactly too formal. Anyways, you can read more about the minecraft server at dotz.dev/minecraft. For now it’ll be Java Edition only and that’s because GeyserMC has yet to update for the latest version of Minecraft. Until then, we’ll stay on Java. The server will also be running on Fabric to try and hold as much of the vanilla experience as possible, the only mods included would be some performance mods, simple voice chat and the online map available at map.dotz.dev. Note that the map only works when the server is up, and that is not 24/7 because it’s selfhosted. (DDOS me if you get off to morbidly obese people and you have a feet kink)
